How to Grunt and Gulp Your Way to Workflow Automation

Microsoft’s Etienne Margraff explains how to use developer automation software like Gulp and Grunt to make your development workflow simple.

Gulp sounds promising. But like ever read somewhere (forgot the link), if Grunt is enough for doing the jobs, then won’t necessary to learn the same tool.

And here’s another quote to strengthen the statement:

If you are using a really standard workflow with common steps like jshint, uglifying, css validating etc., Grunt is a good choice. If you are up to more complicated tasks, gulp will be a good wingman.

Adding Company Info to Your WordPress Site with Global Variables

A client I recently built a site for wanted to display company contact details in multiple places on the front-end of his site. A simple enough task, yes, but also one I knew would quickly become tedious – not only would I have to copy and paste the same information in many different places but if the client wanted to update his contact details they would have to be edited in various locations.

Another tutorial done trying. What a productive day. Hope can keep continuing like this!
